Te Arawa Fisheries recently launched a funky new website, dedicated to the youth of Te Arawa Iwi.

The Rotorua based fisheries trust commissioned the website in order to raise awareness of the fisheries trust within local Iwi and to make them aware of their entitlements. The brief for the website design required a style which was both youthful and professional; a look which has been carefully created by ReserveGroup designers.

The new website made use of a custom developed registration form which allows new members to provide the trust with specific genealogy details. These details are used by Te Arawa Fisheries staff to determine whether or not a person qualifies as a member.

One of the many benefits of registering with Te Arawa Fisheries, is the scholarships which can be applied for through the trust. So far around 30 talented students have received these scholarships to put towards the costs of studying.
